How to dress for a football game.

Football season is kicking off this weekend and I could not be more excited. Last night I went to the Panthers pre-season game against the Steelers. It was a wretched game, so I had some time to look around me and do some people watching. It was near the half when I saw a young woman trucking up the stairs in the nose bleeds in a sequin tank top, skin-tight jeans, and 4+ inch stilettos. Ladies, come on.


I am not saying that you can't look cute at games. It is totally ok with me if you want to wear a cute dress rather than a jersey. But looking like you are about to hit up the dance floor at a night club is simply dumb. You are going to be uncomfortable, you are going to get beer spilled on you, you are going to have to climb what feels like a mile to get to our seats, and you are probably going to have to stand up to see the game. Do yourself (and most likely the people who brought you to the game) a favor and dress comfortably.


Oh- I included the pink jersey because they just bother me. Pink is not a team color. Man up and wear the real thing.
