• Do you get paid or compensated for featuring the products you write about?
Nope. I write about the clothes, accessories and websites I feature because I like them and think my readers might, too. I am in no way compensated by the brands or retailers that are featured on Hanger Envy.

• How do you decide what to write about?
Most often it comes from my day-to-day life. I will have a friend ask me a question or I will be shopping for something myself and decide to share my findings with Hanger Envy visitors.

• Can I request a post about something I have questions about?
Certainly! I welcome requests for posts about different subjects. If you have a topic idea or a question you want written about send it to sam@hangerenvy.com.

• Why do you feature mostly the same stores in your posts?
Quite simply because these stores are where I do most of my shopping. I don't like to suggest things to my readers that I wouldn't want to wear myself, which means I shop for my posts at the same places where I shop for my own wardrobe. If you have suggestions for new stores you think should be featured on Hanger Envy, let me know in an email or in the comments of a post.

• What is Fashion Filtered and why do you do it every month?
Fashion Filtered is a series of monthly posts that consist of pieces that I find in the fashion magazines I read. The pieces are stylish, on trend, and under $100. I realize that not everyone has the time to go through 10 magazines a month to see what is out there, so I do it for you. I read Elle, InStyle, Harper's Bazaar, Marie Claire, Lucky, Real Simple, Vogue, Self and Glamour each month to find pieces for Fashion Filtered.

• Do you try to find pieces that fall in a certain price range for Hanger Envy?
I try to keep the prices relatively affordable here on Hanger Envy. If I think something is worth the price and worth you spending your hard-earned money on, then I will feature it. If something is a good buy I will write about it, whether it is $20 or $200.

• Will you help me figure out my style?
Of course! I am available for house calls to help you figure out your look. Hanger Envy Style Consulting has a list of services that will help you fine-tune your wardrobe.
